It’s here! It’s finally here! Instagram Reels Templates are finally here and this is one feature we’re so excited to have launched! With Instagram Reels Templates, you can quickly create your Reels based on a template from an existing Reel. This means you’re saving time, effort, and tears from trying to get the timings juuuuuust right on your images and videos. Instead of manually adjusting your clips and hoping that the audio synced correctly (and most of the time saying “IT LOOKS FINE JUST POST IT!”), you can now select your favorite template and easily add in your photos. Simple. Easy. Just like we like!

What are Instagram Reels Templates?

Instagram Reels allows users to take a pre-existing Reels template and replace the clips with your own. The template will take your photos and slot them into the time slot of the template and will quickly (and easily!) make the Reel for you.

Don’t see the option on your account yet? Don’t worry! It’s still being rolled out to all users so it could take a hot minute before it refreshes in your app.

How to Use Instagram Reels Templates?

But how do you use them? That’s the easy part! Go to your Reels page on your Instagram app and you will see in the corner on certain Reels a “Use Template” sticker icon.

You can also click the three dots on the Reel and select “Use as Template” as well.

Once you have selected it, you will see at the bottom of the screen a series of timestamps for each clip in the Reel.

Click “add media” to select clips to go into each of the time slots.

And … that’s it.
