Itâs quite easy to find out if youâve been blocked on Instagram, as you wonât have any access to that personâs profile, however, restricting can be trickier to work out. If you want to find out if youâve been restricted, one of the best ways is to check your message history with the person in question. You should be able to see when and if they are online if they havenât restricted you, as well as whether or not they have seen your recent messages, marked by read receipts.

When you block a user on Instagram, your profile essentially disappears from the profile and feed of that particular user. But that happens in a variety of ways.
