In order to access Ads Manager, you must have a business Page on Facebook. Once you’re logged in, you should see ‘Ads Manager’ on the left sidebar which will take you to the main Ads Manager dashboard. If you have more than one business page on Facebook, you’ll be able to use the account dropdown menu on the top left to switch between accounts.
To create an ad, click on the green ‘create’ button which is visible on the Ad Manager dashboard. You will then have the chance to select your campaign objectives (options are awareness, consideration, and conversions). Next, you will move on to define other elements of the campaign such as audience targeting, ad placement, ad budget, ad creative and more before you hit ‘publish’.
It can take up to 24 hours for Facebook to review your ad. Once it has been approved, you will be notified, and your ad will go live.
If you want your colleagues to manage and create ads within Ad manager, you will need to grant them access to your Facebook Ads account (this is separate from giving them access to your business Facebook page). There are several roles available that determine the level of access that they are granted:
Analyst – They can only see your ad performance
Advertiser – Can view, edit and create ads using the payment method associated with the account
Admin – Can do everything that an analyst and advertiser can do as well as manage the roles and billing/ payment details
