Pins – pins are ‘visual bookmarks’ which you can save and add to boards. These are visual items (photo/ video content) that you find on Pinterest or add from any website. They all include a link back to the original source.
Boards – this is where you organize your pins. You may have one for recipes where you pin content or for home décor inspiration, for example.
Repin – this is a repost feature where you can ‘repin’ other users' pins to one of your boards
Idea Pins – similar to ‘stories’ on Instagram, this feature allows you to merge together multiple pieces of image, text, and video content into a sequence
You have the option to convert an existing account into a business account or create a business account from scratch on Pinterest. If you’re creating a business account from scratch, you will be required to enter business information such as the business name and website URL. Once you have filled out your profile information you can ‘claim your website’ by editing your website’s HTML code. This will give you access to analytics, a featured logo, and early access to tools.
